Tara Reid first appeared in commercials for television while just a tiny child. The breakthrough moment came after Tara Reid made an appearance on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. She has performed her roles effortlessly, in spite of the scrutiny. Her breakthrough came when she got her big breakthrough in the role of Bunny in The Big Lebowski. The movie proved to be an important step in her career and she began to get better offers with movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie - a cult flick about sexual encounters among teenagers was Reid's first big breakthrough into Hollywood. Her role as Vicky, the virgin, gave her a beautiful model. The film did not lead to an impressive, lucrative Hollywood career. Reid had a bad time with films such as Josie and the Pussycats. Reid did reprise her short appearance for a brief part in American Pie 2 but it unfortunately did not do much to help her career stall. Reid is known more as a fashion designer, a partygoer and party goer, rather than as an actor because of the numerous mishaps off screen that she has made.
